Larry Morrell has been in the military. He is a retired high tech executive having been involved for 35 years with a wide variety of technologies and roles. He is a business and technical consultant for leading edge technology companies and venture capitalists.
Technologies include: Semiconductor devices; micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS); Radio Frequency Identification, Semiconductor process development and solid state non-volatile memory design.
Roles include: General Manager, V.P. of Marketing and business development; V.P. of Operations, Systems Design Engineer; Application engineer.
Papers presented at technical conferences include: Antenna Design, IEEE International Reliability Physics Symposium, Nonvolatile memory design.
Larry Morrell has been active in opposing the expansion of the EA-18G electronic warfare jet fleet since moving to Whidbey Island, Washington in 2014. He presently lives in Port Townsend and is the Executive Director of the Sound Defense Alliance which is a region-wide voice for the preservation of the health of the residents and of the environment in the Pacific Northwest. The organization is opposed to harmful military activities.
